Van Hoang serves as the Facility Security Officer (FSO) and Insider Threat Program Senior Officer (ITPSO).  He is responsible for managing security, both personnel and physical for AMG.  He is AMG’s primary representative for security matters and ensures that the company comply with government requirements.

Prior to AMG, Van served 17 years in law enforcement both at the state and federal level.  He worked and provided support to local, state and federal law enforcement personnel, special agents, and chiefs of police.  He also provided advisement to state and federal judges.  After leaving law enforcement, Van went into the private sector and works as a contract Special Investigator for federal agencies.  In addition to conducting investigations for the federal government, Van is also a master firearms instructor who specializes in combat shooting.  His clients are civilians, company executives and federal agents who are looking to learn combat shooting for self-defense or honing their combat shooting skills.
